The Minister for Economic Development, Tourism, Sport and Culture and Chair of the Inflation Strategy Group, Senator Lyndon Farnham, has issued the following statement:
“The latest Retail Prices Index report is welcome news and the downward trend aligns closely with the aims of the Inflation Strategy Group which was established in 2019.
"The cost of living is an important issue which affects all islanders and needs to be more closely monitored over the months and years ahead.
"The Inflation Strategy Group will present its first report to the States in February, which sets out how the Government will play its part in helping to maintain low and stable inflation.”

Deputy Susie Pinel - Minister for Treasury and Resources
Senator Tracey Vallois - Minister for Education
