Vaccine booking system for Islanders over 80 now live

06 January 2021

From today, Islanders aged 80 and over can now book their free COVID-19 vaccination through the online booking system.

Appointments may be booked by visiting www.gov.je/vaccine where a link to the booking site can be found. Appointments for this tier of Islanders should be booked from 13 January 2021.

Islanders are reminded that if they are over 75 and live with someone over 80 years old, they too can receive the vaccine at the same time by booking both appointments through the Coronavirus Helpline on 445566.

As some Islanders in this age group might not have immediate access to the internet, in addition to family and friends helping, support for booking appointments is available through Parishes and by calling the Coronavirus Helpline.

Charities and organisations including Age Concern, Jersey Alzheimer’s Association, Good Companions and Call&Check will also be on hand to support people wishing to make a booking.

Adult social care services have also been made aware of the vaccine schedule and will be on hand to help their clients.
