Staff from Disability and Inclusion and the Local Services Team are taking part in a cycle challenge as part of Move More's Find Your Power Week.
The team of three will set off at 8am on Friday 4 June from the Communicare Library and will stop at various charities around the Island, working with each one to raise awareness of disability and inclusion.
The challenge will involve cycling 50km around Jersey passing through the following community partner venues along the way:
- 08:30 Communicare (start)
- 09:00 Birdsong community garden
- 10:30 Acorn
- 11:00 Jersey Mencap Pond Project
- 11:30 Jersey Zoo
- 12:30 EyeCan
- 13:00 Beresford Street Kitchen
Jersey Heritage - 14:00 Les Amis
- 14:30 Mind Jersey (Pip's Place)
- 15:00 Library (finish)
Disability and Inclusion Project Manager, Dario Gentili, said: "This challenge is an exciting opportunity to spread awareness of disability and inclusion in the Island and the amount of work many charities do to help people's understanding.
"We are aiming to inspire the disabled community to try something new and find their power."
