Jersey Youth Service (JYS) is inviting young people to take part in a walking challenge this May.

The Jersey Library and the Jersey Bat Group have agreed together to loan out a bat detector to Islanders wishing to find out more about the Island’s species.

A new cross-curricular course called ‘Alentou d’Jèrri’ (Around Jersey) is being launched this term, following the continued success of the Jèrriais programme in schools.

A recruitment campaign has been launched to find Islanders interested in becoming foster carers for children with the greatest needs, who require specialist care and support.

A total of £380,000 has been secured to support school students with additional online learning devices.

From this week, and in line with the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, Jersey Youth Service can welcome back more children and young people to the Island’s youth clubs.
