22 January 2021

The Minister for Health and Social Services, Deputy Richard Renouf will sign extensions to COVID-19 Orders, which act as temporary legislation, on a monthly basis from 31 January.
The monthly extension of Orders does not negate the ability of the Minister to amend or withdraw such orders from being place.
The COVID-19 (Workplace Restrictions) Order has therefore been extended until the 31 January.
The Minister for Health and Social Services, Deputy Richard Renouf said: “Ministers remain in discussion regarding the current measures we have in place. The monthly extensions simply offer a more efficient process in which to guide our ourselves through the current COVID-19 situation. That does not mean measures will stay in place, without amendment, until the end of each month.”
