Two Jubilee Jersey £5 coins and a set of British Isles coins (from Jersey Guernsey and the Isle of Man) are now available to mark Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
The Jersey coin features an Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS portrait of Her Majesty, dated 2022, with the traditional Bailiwick of Jersey wording and denomination on the obverse and a portrait of Her Majesty created by sculptor Luigi Badia on the reverse. Her Majesty is pictured wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, based on the photograph by Dorothy Wilding taken in February 1952 – the first official photographic sitting of the Queen, which took place just 20 days after the accession. Around the outer edge of the coin, the wording 'HM Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee' and the dates '1952-2022' are engraved.
