Teams in the Infrastructure and Environment (I&E) department will continue to clear public roads over the weekend.
Primary priorities will remain focused on major roads, areas identified as unsafe, and locations where access is needed for Emergency Services.
The team will also be inspecting school routes and ensuring clear pathways for double decker buses.
There are still lots of blockages on roads across the Island, and there is the possibility that some of the cleared roads could become blocked again due to unstable trees and branches which are at risk of falling. Motorists are strongly advised to take care if travelling.
Parking in Government of Jersey car parks remains free all weekend, with car park charges due to resume from Monday morning.
Islanders who find a tree down on a Parish road or a private road should contact the relevant Parish or the land owner.
The public are asked to avoid using countryside and coastal footpaths as they continue to be properly assessed for safety by the Natural Environment team as many will have fallen branches/trees or have suffered water damage.
