Information has been provided advising the IT system provider that seems to have caused
the Global IT issues have a fix for the root cause issue and IT service providers to
Government of Jersey such as Microsoft are currently working through the restoration of
services worldwide.
This will take some time to work through all IT servers and applications
affected.
There has been partial restoration of some IT services that failed earlier today in Jersey.
Government update at 13:10
• Family Nursing & Home Care are affected by the global IT outage. Clinics remain open.
Essential and urgent home visits are being prioritised. If you do not receive an expected visit
and have any concerns, please call us on 01534 443600
• Services across Children’s Services and CAMHS are unaffected, and appointments should be
attended as planned
• Jersey Schools SIMS student registration system has been partially restored. Government of
Jersey schools remain open as normal
• We’ve been advised there have been no reported major IT issues for Jersey Water, Jersey
Electricity, Jersey Telecom, Island Energy or fuel providers
The following updates from earlier remain current:
• Emergency services responses are unaffected. In an emergency, please call 999, as usual
• The hospital remains open and patients are advised to attend appointments as normal
• GPs have asked us to communicate that they would like patients to attend as normal unless
otherwise advised
• Customer and Local Services is open
• Online ID systems such as JerseyMe and Yoti are currently unaffected
• Online tax forms are currently unaffected
• Ports of Jersey are providing updates on the airport and harbour, and any questions on
those services should be directed to them.
