For the first time, the States of Jersey Fire and Rescue Service has developed and
launched its own, bespoke website.
Coinciding with the Service’s 75th anniversary year, jerseyfire.je is a symbol of how the
service integrates itself with modern Island life.
The website has been designed with Islanders in mind as the go-to online resource for fire
safety advice in the Island. It’s device friendly, offering access to timely and accurate
information, including our latest news, updates and support.
The site also provides insight into the varied and complex roles that the Fire and Rescue
Service carries out in and around Jersey.
Chief Fire Officer, Paul Brown said: “The States of Jersey Fire and Rescue Service operates
in a complex and increasingly fast-moving environment and so we need the flexibility and
reach to match that.
“Moving to our own jerseyfire.je website means more content and more responsive
changes to that content, delivered in a more engaging way. The more we engage and the
more content we can share, the more efficient we can be in promoting safety.
“The launch coincides with the 75th anniversary of the States taking responsibility for the
Island’s fire and rescue service from the Parish of St Helier, so this renewal is fitting in
some ways.”
