A number of sites have also been rezoned from being within the countryside zone to the built-up area. The Island proposals map and the town proposals map will be amended accordingly to identify the new policy regime applicable to these sites.

Built-up areas
The following sites have been designated as ‘built-up area’ by the States on 05 July 2002:
- site of former Elmdale Hotel, Rue de la Ville Emphrie, St Lawrence (map 28, dated 31 March 2005)
- Homefield, Grande Route de St. Jean, St Helier (map 30, dated 11 April 2005)
- Manoir d’Aval, Rue d’Aval, St Martin (map 31, dated 11 April 2005)
