What are Service Performance Measures
The Service Performance Measures (SPMs) score the government on its current short-term performance. They provide a broad overview of the delivery of key services by government departments.
The service performance measures are defined in the government’s
Delivery Plans. Service performance measures are reported on quarterly where data is available quarterly. Customer satisfaction information is also included. Service Performance Measures form half of the Jersey Performance Framework. The other half of the Jersey Performance Framework are the
Island Outcome Indicators (IOIs). These are longer-term indicators showing how Jersey is progressing towards its Sustainable Wellbeing goals.
Health and Community Services (HCS) already publish a large amount of performance data in their regular
Quality and Performance Reports (QPRs).
Quarterly updates
The quarterly update of the Service Performance Measures will be published on the following dates.
The planned publication date for Q3 was changed on 9 August 203, to be 3 weeks later than the original planned publication date of 25 October 2023 on 15 November. This was to make sure sufficient time for quality assurance processes to be carried out. The date was moved back a further week to 23 November to fit in with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) meeting schedule.
