A product safety notice has been issued as this product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
The plug supplied with the charger does not meet the requirements of the relevant standard as the pin is too close to the edge of the plug, which exposes the user to an electric shock hazard.
Under fault conditions the poorly soldered terminals could lead the creepage and clearance distances to reduce and cause the product to overheat and ignite.
