12 January 2024A Fidéicommis created in 1958 and represented by Anthony Philippe Bisson, Kathryn Charmaine Cleworth, née Strangroom and Lucia Janet Spencer (formerly Tomkins), née Perkins as trustees (the “Representors”).
Further to the notice published on 15 December 2023 in the following terms:
Notice is hereby given of an application to be brought by the Representors pursuant to Article 10 of the Loi (1862) sur les teneures en fidéicommis et l’incorporation d’associations (the “1862 Law”) before the Royal Court of Jersey on 12 January 2024 seeking consent to the following orders:
- that the sale of 13 Dorset Street, St Helier (the “Property”) in accordance with Article 6 of the 1862 Law to such persons on such terms as the Representors shall think fit in accordance with their fiduciary duties be approved
- that the proceeds of the sale of the Property be contributed to the Head Church at the Greater World, 3-5 Conway Street, Fitzrovia, London, W1T 6BJ (the “Greater World”)
- that, upon the sale of the Property and the realisation of all and any other assets as may belong to the Fidéicommis, that the application of the proceeds of sale thereof be made to the Greater World
- that the Fidéicommis be terminated
Notice is given that on the 12 January 2023 the Royal Court adjourned the representation, the representation will return before the Royal Court on Friday 19 January 2024 at 10am.
