In accordance with Article 22 of the Public Elections (Jersey) Law 2002, electors are hereby notified that an election for one person to fill the office of Connétable will be held on Wednesday 28 July 2021. Full details of the candidates are set out below.

How to cast your vote
Voting before Polling Day
Postal Vote: an elector who is likely to be out of the Island on 28 July 2021 during the hours of polling (between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.) or an elector registered under Article 9 and who has applied for a postal vote to the Postal & Pre-Poll Voting Officer, Judicial Greffe, Royal Court House, Royal Square, St Helier (closing date is noon on Thursday 22 July 2021) must return the sealed envelope containing the completed ballot paper to the Judicial Greffe no later than noon on Wednesday 28 July 2021 in order for the vote to be included in the count.
Pre-poll Vote
an elector who wishes to cast their vote before polling day may do so at the Judicial Greffe Pre-Poll Voting Station, Tribunal Offices, 1st Floor, International House, 41 The Parade, St Helier on weekdays from Tuesday 20 July 2021 during the hours 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. and until 2.00 p.m. on Monday 26 July 2021.
Pre-Poll home visit
an elector who is unable to attend the Pre-Poll Voting Station to register their vote due to illness or disability may request an officer of the Judicial Greffe to visit them at home to enable the elector to cast their vote.
Application forms are available from the Judicial Greffe reception, the Parish Hall and may be downloaded from vote.je.
Please have with you proof of identity as this may be requested before you are allowed to vote.
Voting on Polling Day
The Polling station is at the Parish Hall and will be open on Wednesday 28 July 2021 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. At the polling station electors will be requested to proceed to desks according to the alphabetical order of their surname.

Electors who, on the day, are confined to their homes owing to illness or disability and who wish to have their votes recorded by the Autorisé or Adjoint are requested to notify the Parish Hall by noon, if possible, on Wednesday 28 July 2021.
Closure of the parish office
On Polling Day, Wednesday 28 July 2021, the Parish office will be closed for business.
On Thursday 29 July 2021, the Parish office will be closed for business and will open again at 8.15am, on Friday 30 July 2021.
