At the Parish Assembly held on Friday 30 August 2024 it was agreed that the Parish would recommend approval of the application of Mr Peter Tarrant for a Third Category (Restaurant) licence to the Licensing Bench, in respect of the Ugly Oyster catering van situated at Seaside Café, Greve de Lecq.
Mr Tarrant had advised that his original intention was for the application to be made in the name of La Crete Seafood Ltd, of which Mr Tarrant is a director. In an exchange of correspondence with the licensing administrators and with the agreement of the Bailiff’s Chambers, it had been agreed that the application could be presented to the Licensing Assembly in the name of La Crete Seafood Ltd, subject to parishioners being given the opportunity to object to this change.
Consequently, if any parishioner wishes to object to this change in licensee, any such objection should be notified to the Parish Hall and also to the Judicial Greffier (care of Jason Troy) by 20 September 2024.
