Changes to Traffic Arrangements on Les Grands Vaux, La Rue a la Dame, Sunshine Avenue and Little Sunshine Avenue

The Minister for Infrastructure, in pursuance of Article 68 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956, as amended, and after consultation with the Connétable of St Saviour, gives notice of the following changes to the traffic arrangements on Les Grands Vaux, La Rue à la Dame, Sunshine Avenue and Little Sunshine Avenue.

These changes will take effect from Monday 1 September 2024.​

Road Traffic (St Saviour) (Jersey) Order 2000

Introduced to the schedule of the order: 

Schedule 3, Part 1, Prohibition of Waiting

• ​R​​emove the existing entries for Grands Vaux in Column 2 and replace with “Both sides (between the parish boundary and its junction with La Rue à la Dame”
• Replace the existing entry for La Rue à la Dame – in Column 2 “West side (from its junction with Les Grand Vaux for a distance of 20 yards in a southerly direction” with a new entry “West side (from its junction with Les Grand Vaux for a distance of 18 yards in a southerly direction”

Schedule 3a, Roads Closed to Through Traffic

• ​​In Column 1 after La Chasse Brunet insert “Little Sunshine Avenue” and in Column 2 “All times”
• In Column 1 after Little Sunshine Avenue insert “Sunshine Avenue” and in Column 2 “All times”

Schedule 6, Part 2, Disc Parking Up To 3 Hours

• ​​​​Insert an entry in Column 1 after Fountain Lane “La Rue à la Dame” and add the entry in Column 2 “West side (from its junction with Les Grands Vaux starting at a distance of 18 yards in a southerly direction and a point 24 yards further south)”
