Rare survival of an early 18th century building in town. Historical association with the Battle of Jersey.

External Description
Corner property at NE corner of Royal Square, 5 bay, 4 storey, the top floor being a later addition. Front (south) elevation: Top floor rendered, ground floor stucco, first and second floors exposed stonework. Windows are 2 pane (1/1) sashes. Ground floor includes an entrance that has been recently altered and a C20 window out of proportion with the historic character of the building, 2 pane (1/1) sash window with rounded top corners. 2 leaf door, each with 2 panels. Side (east) elevation: 3 bay, 3 storey. New roof. Grey stucco ashlar effect. 1 bay of windows, all 2 pane (1/1) sashes. Ground floor, set of 2 sash windows, 2 pane (1/1) with rounded top corners. 2 leaf door, each with 2 panels.
