- try expanding the date range to include applications submitted over years, not just the past 3 months
- try entering the last 4 digits of the reference, rather than the whole reference
- try using a broad search for property and road names, such as ‘Quenn’ which will return results for ‘La Route des Quennevais’
- check your spelling or use part of a name to return more results
- avoid special characters such as full stops, hyphens, commas, and accents. For example a road search using ‘Saviour’ instead of ‘St.Saviour’s Hill’ will return more results
- no need to use wildcard characters
The planning application database contains records of all planning applications made since 2001.
For all applications, we'll publish:
- site where work is being proposed
- description of work
- plans, drawings and supporting documents
- name of the applicant and agent
- final decision
- name of the planning case officer
- relevant Island Plan constraints
- dates validated, advertised, end publicity, site visited, Committee meeting, decision, appeal lodged
We advertise all planning applications on:
We won’t re-advertise the application if the applicant makes minor changes to their proposed scheme during
the assessment process. However, we’ll include all new documents and plans on the planning register.
To protect your personal data, we will blank out the following information before it’s published:
- signatures
- addresses other than the site address or anything that connects individuals to where they live
- personal e-mail addresses
- private telephone numbers
- names and ages of relatives or dependants
- any personal family information
- details of where people work
- medical information, including disability (except where it has been provided as evidence to the Green Zone policy of a dependant relative)
- medical history, including hospital admittance
- death of others
- people depicted in photographs, especially children
- vehicle licence plate numbers
- views into private property taken from other land
We’ll blank out the following commercial information:
- financial information
- business cases
- land ownership, purchase or transfer
When you submit comments on an application, we’ll blank out the following information before it’s published:
- comments or opinions about individuals of a sensitive or personal nature, whether negative or positive
- negative comments about individual staff members
- comments or opinions that have no relevance to the application or planning process
- defamatory comments of any nature, libellous allegations or statements
- statements relating to enforcement, police or other investigations

For determined applications, we’ll publish the application form, decision notice and relevant plans.
We’re currently scanning our paper files from 2001 to 2012, so not all application records between these years will have documents and plans published. If you’d like to view this information you can complete our
