About the fund
The Greville Bathe fund helps Jersey residents in financial difficulties who either:
- have served the Island in an administrative or clerical capacity, either in an honorary capacity or paid employment, or whose ancestors have. (This excludes anyone who has received benefits from the Ann Alice Rayner Fund ).
- are sick and elderly. The fund may also make awards to Jersey charities with similar aims (that are not owned or administered by the Government).
Individuals or charities can apply for one-off grants, or monthly awards.
The Jersey Community Foundation (JCF) acts as income administrators and makes decisions on distributions from the fund.

How a decision is made
The JCF meets several times a year to consider new applications and make award decisions.
They compare the information in your application form to the fund's award criteria. They also consider your need against that of other applicants.
You'll be notified of the outcome soon after the decision has been taken.
