Using our facility​

You can bring household recycling and waste to the household reuse and recycling centre at La Collette.

​​​Our staff are there to keep you and our sites safe. They cannot help you unload your vehicle. Make sure you load your vehicle in a way that it's easy for you to unload and bring someone if you need help.

Anyone who is abusive towards our staff will have to leave without emptying their vehicle.​

​Trailers or commercial vehicles are not allowed. Bring your commercial waste at the commercial recycling and waste disposal facilities.

Metals recycling

EMR operates the metals recycling facility at La Collette and accepts:

• vehicles
  
• large appliances
  
• other scrap metals

Asbestos disposal

All your asbestos wastes must be delivered to the Asbestos Reception and Disposal Facility (ARDF) at La Collette. It's an offense to deliver asbestos wastes to any other site.

Household asbestos disposal

La Collette weighbridge

You can use our commercial weighbridge to dispose of large loads of domestic waste or if you need a public weighing. Find the opening hours and applicable charges under the non-recyclable builders' rubble section.
