About the consultation
The consultation is now closed
The draft Bridging Island Plan consultation closed on 12 July 2021.
The Minister for the Environment has now published the draft Bridging Island Plan: Post-consultation report, which responds to all public comments received, and all States Member Amendments.
Why we held the consultation
The 12-week statutory public consultation on the draft bridging Island Plan will help shape the future development of Jersey.
Every representation made as part of the consultation was published and will be considered by the independent planning inspector, before the Plan is debated by the States Assembly in spring 2022.
The Plan touches on all areas of island life. All islanders can have their say on the new policies, and
read all the evidence that they are based on.
Reference copies of the draft Plan are also available from Parish Halls and the St Helier Library.
