Commemorative coins issued by The Westminster Collection (FOI)

Commemorative coins are issued by "The Westminster Collection", which claim to be legal tender in Jersey. Please see the link below to the ministerial decision approving such coins to be issued in 2021:

However there do not seem to be any more recent such decisions and new coins continue to be issued claiming legal tender status in Jersey for example:​

Please provide a copy of, or link to, the ministerial decision approving this coin, or the series, for 2024?​

Response

Under Ministerial Decision MD-TR-2023-324, as reported to the States Assembly on 26 of May 2023, the Minister delegated to the Treasurer of the States the power to approve the issuance programme for 2024. Please see the links below for further information:

The Jersey Commemorative Coinage proposed issuing programme for 2024 was approved under TR-2023-TD037 on 16 October 2023 by Richard Bell, Treasurer of the States.

2024 D-Day 80th Anniversary One-off Coin Issue has been approved under TR-2023-TD045SH decision on 29 November 2023 by the Director of Treasury and Investment Management under the delegation by the Treasurer.
