- general guidance on the performance expected of materials and building work in order to comply with the requirements in Part 4 of the second schedule to the building bye-laws
- practical examples and solutions on how to achieve compliance for some of the more common building situations
Document 4 covers information on the resistance of moisture to floors, walls and roofs and examples of damp proofing and ventilation provisions.
Document 4 (2019) comes into effect on the 01 October 2019.
