Weighting the dimensions of well-being
The Better Life Index enables comparison of Jersey with OECD member countries and partners in terms of 11 different dimensions of well-being. The overall index weights each of these dimensions equally in order to produce an overall score for each country and rank them accordingly. People can however prioritise some dimensions other others and the following tool allows you to adjust the weights of each of these 11 dimensions to create your own index.
Rate the dimensions below according to their importance to you. Scores 1-5 will include that dimension with the associated score as its weight, whilst you can exclude a dimension entirely by scoring it 0.
