If you have a mobile telephone, or access to an Internet-enabled device such as a computer, you can receive up-to-the-minute information on public transport services.
LibertyBus App
The LibertyBus mobile app provides bus times, smart journey planning and detailed route maps for Jersey's public transport network. Bus users can search for specific bus stops and see real-time information for their service.
The app can be downloaded for both Apple and Android mobile devices.
TrackMyBus
Developed by Government of Jersey in partnership with LibertyBus,
TrackMyBus indicates the location of every bus operating in service, including those on the school bus network.
This facility depicts in-service buses as colour-coded spots on the map, providing an indication of the location of each vehicle. It also displays bus stops as red markers, and these offer details of the next bus departure times.
TrackMyBus is available on the m.gov.je website. It has been designed to function on a wide range of modern computers and mobile devices, but please note that it may not display correctly on older equipment and earlier releases of Internet browsers.
TextMyBus
If you do not have access to a device with an Internet browser, but you do have a mobile telephone that can send and receive SMS messages, TextMyBus offers automated departure times information by text message.
To use TextMyBus, send a text message containing a four figure bus stop code to (0) 7797798888. You will receive a return message a short time later listing the services departing from that bus stop within the next two hours. The bus stop codes are marked on the road at each bus stop, and are numbered from 2323 upwards.

Where a time is given in minutes, the vehicle operating the service is being tracked by the automatic vehicle location system, and is a prediction of how long it will be before the bus arrives. If it is very close, the time will be shown as "Due".
TextMyBus will provide departure times for a specific route if that route number is added after the stop number. This is helpful when
you only want the times for a single route from a stop which is served by multiple bus routes. For example, a message containing 2576 3 will return departure times for Royal Crescent for service 3 only. There must be a space between the bus stop code and the route number.
TextMyBus is available to everyone, including visitors to Jersey, but please check that your service provider does support the service. Each message sent to (0) 7797798888 is charged at the regular network rate for an SMS message and you will not be charged for the return message.
Locate your bus stop with VIXConnect
VIXConnect provides a search facility which shows the locations of all active bus stops in Jersey, and works best on a computer with the Windows operating system and the Edge or Chrome browsers.
If the four figure bus stop code you want to find is entered into the search box, the VIXConnect map will zoom to the stop position, with the same bus times information as provided by TrackMyBus and TextMyBus being displayed. If you only know the first or last three digits of the bus stop code number, VIXConnect will list all the potential matches. You can also search for bus stops by name.
