The most significant strongpoint in Jersey, and an outstanding example of a strongly fortified headland with integration of structures and a number of unique features forming a legible historic landscape including north and south facing coastal gun casemates, and underground passage linking 2 bunkers, and the only example of an automatic fortress mortar bunker in Jersey.
