Forms an integral part of the lower part of the High Street and contributes to its townscape value. Context n/a External Description A 3 bay, 3 storey house fronting directly onto the High Street. The sash windows are original with some handmade glass. There are heavy rendered sub sills. 2 basement lights close to pavement level. The front door is 4 panel with bolection moulds with a small glazed fanlight with Clarendon House marked in gold leaf. The facade is rendered and lined with voussiors over the windows but the granite facade has been cut away around the doorway to reveal granite masonry. The entrance step is of Swanage stone. The roof is of natural clay pantile with 2 new lead clad dormer windows which are reasonably well detailed. The property was refurbished recently. The rear facade is partially visible from the entrance courtyard of the Le Gros Centre. The roof is of old clay pantiles and the facade retains an authentic character.
