Statement of significance
A symbol to the local community at the heart of the parish. A rare example of mid C19 former parish school of high quality craftsmanship, and harmonious proportions, which retains most original exterior features.

External Description
3 gabled wings with smaller gabled wing set back between 1st & 3rd. Blue rubble, said to be seinite, dressings of granite and limestone. Slate roof. Central and 3rd wing: single storey, tall windows of 3 trefoil lights, small lancet above in gable; 1st and smaller wing: 2 storey, mullioned windows; central and 3rd wing linked by flat roofed single storey porch with central timber door, surmounted by carved stone cross, 2 pointed lancet windows. Late C20 extension to rear.
Internal Description
Central entrance to hallway with Main Hall to west, double pile to east. 1996 extension to south. No historic features are evident. All doors are replacements.
