External Description
The plan / style is an overall Gothick treatment to a gabled box. It is 4-bay, cement rendered with a slate roof. There are small saddlebacked pinnacles at the corners of the building, and the base of a removed louvered ventilation turret at the apex of the chapel roof. The principal north front has a round window opening with quatrefoil tracery and drip moulding, above a porch with a Gothic doorway with angled buttresses and slate roof. Plaque 'CHAPELLE WESLEYENNE 1837.1897'. The windows are Gothic arched with simple wooden Y tracery and drip mouldings. There is a small manse adjoining to the south.
Internal Description
The interior is simple but retains its architectural integrity. There is a small entrance lobby with an original staircase to the gallery. A pair of doorways lead into the chapel. A gallery of 1897 with arcaded balustrade, is supported on a central cast-iron column with Corinthian capital and barley sugar detailing. There are late 19th century pitch-pine pews with shaped ends. The pulpit of 1897 and other fittings at the ritual east end have been slightly remodelled.
