The classical arrangement of the ground floor for the Chamber of Commerce is largely obliterated by the awnings fitted to ground floor for use by the adjoining pub. Rear (east) elevation: Pitched roof set behind parapet. Stucco ashlar, keystone and voussoir effect. String course beneath parapet. Scattered windows of various sizes are 2 pane (1/1) sashes. Ground floor banded stucco doorway and casement window are later additions (possibly 1950s). Side (south) elevation: Gable end of pitched roof, stucco ashlar effect chimney. Stucco ashlar, keystone and voussoir effect. Windows are 2 pane (1/1) sashes. Ground floor banded stucco doorway is a later addition. Internal Description Interior includes a fine and unusual example of an early 19th century staircase running the height of the four storey building.
