External Description
Granite building with painted rendered façade in imitation ashlar - pierre perdu side walls. Gabled slate roof. 3 bays with simple gothic windows with wooden Y tracery. Main street façade with central doorway with Gothic four centred arch, and pair of windows lighting gallery. There are angle buttresses to front façade ending in square finials, with a similar finial at the apex of the gable. A quatrefoil panel on the front gable has an inscription ‘New’ Church 1848. The church is flanked by side walls pierced by gothic doorways. Small forecourt with dwarf granite wall carrying iron railings, with central iron gateway within decorative accoladed iron archway. Simple interior with panelled gallery at north end.
