The entrance is partitioned to create access to the doctor's surgery in the basement and the reception/records area in the service wing. Basement: the only original feature to be seen is a mid C19 timber chimney-piece (with modern inserted grate) flanked by matching built in cupboards either side. Service wing: within the records-room is to be found a mid C19 rosette with swirl-leaf centre, proving that the wing is primary to the main house. The main front living room has a marble chimney-piece, with later grate-insert, large mid C19 ceiling rosette (with static leaf centre) and internal shutters but has lost it's original dining-dividers, its recent replacement being multiple-paned. Within the dining area is a matching rosette. All doors are 4 panel pine originals, with generous architraves and mouldings throughout. The stairwell is now boxed-in with partitioning, the mahogany staircase has a pad-topped handrail, returning in a horizontal-spiral and terminating in a bun-finial with a mother of pearl insert, turned balusters and applique to risers. Two niches flank the half landing that serves the service-wing upper floor (this is the original position of a lost arch-topped window). The upper-floor bedrooms retain their fireplaces, both have timber chimney-pieces, one of which matches the style and position of it's neighbour to the west. One has a mid C19 grate, the other is boarded. The window reveals are panelled to resemble internal-shutters. Access to the loft is gained by a panelled-off simple-style staircase, no features are to be seen within the attic.
