Statement of significance
A symbol to the local community at the heart of the parish. The building unusually combines a traditional rural Jersey 5-bay house pattern to the exterior, with a late C19 civic building interior.

External Description
The main building is a typical Jersey rural house pattern - 2 storey, 5 bay - with 2 storey single bay to east. Front (south) elevation: slate roof with chimney to east and bellcote with weather vane to west gable. Walls rubble granite rendered with ashlar effect, rusticated quoins. Late C20 gabled porch with 1879, fleurs de lye and SALLE PAROISSIALE. Windows pvc. Door replacement. Rear (north) elevation: C21 two central bays project with gable end (not of interest).
Internal Description
Wide wooden stair on west gable: chamfered square balusters and newel with pyramidal top. First floor hall: A frame roof with main frame curving down to stone corbel supports. Moulded concave cornice. Moulded octagonal vents in ceiling between A frames.
