The building has historic significance for the development of education in Jersey. Context n/a External Description House, now school: 2 storey, with attic. Central projecting gable wing with wings to east and west. Surrounding buildings late C20. Front (northwest) elevation: slate roof with tall brick chimneys with decorative brickwork at top. Gables have plain bargeboards with pendants and finials. Moulded render string under eaves. Walls rendered. Windows 2 pane (1/1) sashes with horns. Ground floor central 8 pane window projects in square bay. Entrance door now in flat roofed late C20 extension. Original entrance now incorporated into 2 storey, flat roofed extension, with glazed top, to east of central projecting bay. Internal Description Central hallway with arched access ways. Stair with turned mahogany balusters, handrail ending in turned newel with square base and ball top. Panelling under. 4 panel doors. On stair landing glazed double doors with coloured glass. Ceiling roses, skirtings, dados, cornices remain. Two marble fireplaces remain to south rooms.
