Authored by Government of Jersey and published on 06 November 2024.
Prepared internally, no external costs.

Request

I would like to request:

1) A copy of all materials being used in each primary and secondary school related to PSHE and in particular "gender", with details of:

a) which school is using each resource, and

b) which service provider has provided each resource

c) where the resource has been developed internally rather than provided by an external source, please note this.

Response

Please see the attached copies of materials related to PSHE, and in particular "gender", that have been used in Government of Jersey primary and secondary schools.

Please note all Government of Jersey schools were asked to provide headline gender information, as to reference all PSHE would take in excess of 12.5 working hours.  Article 16 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has therefore been applied in part.

Article applied

Article 16 - A scheduled public authority may refuse to supply information if cost excessive

(1) A scheduled public authority that has been requested to supply information may refuse to supply the information if it estimates that the cost of doing so would exceed an amount determined in the manner prescribed by Regulations.
