Health and safety standards for users of display screen equipment (DSE) in the workplace are detailed in the approved code of practice (ACoP).
The ACoP is relevant to all workplaces where display screen equipment is used.
The ACoP details the arrangements which should be in place to ensure that the risks from display screen equipment are effectively managed.
Areas covered include:
- minimum requirements for workstations
- assessment of workstations
- nature and timing of breaks
- eye and eyesight testing
