Coastal defences and features
Coastal defences are structures that provide direct protection to land, for example, engineered seawalls.
Coastal features either enable access to the coast, for example, slipways and coastal paths, or contribute to the visual aspect of the coast, for example, promenade shelters.
Report a problem
While coastal defences and features are strategically maintained, unfortunately they can be damaged by extreme weather and tides.
You can report damage damaged railings, shelters, signage or slipways as well as landslides and ground movement events on Love Jersey.
