Organise a beach cleaning event

Organising a beach clean

Anyone can clean a beach in Jersey.

You may need permission if you plan to:

  • drive or park vehicles on the beach
  • hold a meeting on the beach with loud music playing

If you need permission, email tradingstandards@gov.je and the parish. Find parishes contact information on Comité des Connétables.

If the event is open to the general public you may need to ask consent from the Bailiff. Find more information on permission to hold a public event.

You may need to apply for a road event licence. Find more information on planning an event on the road or public place.
