Carers Jersey

About Carers Jersey

Carers Jersey, (The Jersey Association of Carers Incorporated (JACI)) is a local charity that was set up in 1994. It is a member of the Association of Jersey Charities and affiliated to Carers UK.

Aims of Carers Jersey

Carers Jersey works as the umbrella organisation  for all local carers both individual and groups working towards one common aim: to improve the lives of all people caring for family or friends in Jersey.

What is a carer?

A carer is anybody who takes responsibility for a sick, disabled or elderly person at home.
Carers are often so busy caring that they have little time to care for themselves or investigate what services they can access. That's where Carers Jersey can help.

The Carers Jersey website

The Carers Jersey website aims to provide one contact point so that people can easily access the services of all caring agencies and organisations in Jersey. If you are an individual caring for a family member or friend or an organisation with a carer community please do get in touch. Membership is free and we'd love to hear from you and see how we can support you. Thanks for Caring.
