Applying for a Jersey driving licence

Before you can legally drive a vehicle on the road, you need to have a valid driving licence for the category of the vehicle you want to drive.

If you’re applying for your Jersey driving licence for the first time, you must visit your parish hall. If you’re renewing or replacing an existing licence, you can do it online. You’ll need:

  • to complete an application form (available from your parish hall)
  • one passport sized colour photograph
  • the licence fee (£70 for a full licence and £30 for a provisional licence)
