Nicholas Dodds sees private patients at Jersey General Hospital Radiology Department (Diagnostic Imaging Ltd) and at Jersey X-Ray Services Ltd, Lido Medical Centre.
Specialty
Nicholas’s joint sub speciality interest is interventional radiology and body imaging. Interventional radiology includes arterial, venous and vascular access procedures.
As well as feeding tubes, drainages, stenting and biopsies, Nicholas also performs upper GI endoscopy with endoscopic ultrasound including biopsies.
His general radiology interest is body ultrasound, CT and MRI.
Training
Nicholas has previous experience in the NHS, Australia and the Middle East.
He trained in general medicine and cardiology and then in radiology. He further specialised in GI radiology and intervention in Manchester.
He spent a year in Perth, Australia, as an interventional and GI fellow. Nicholas went on to spend five years as GI radiologist in Royal Cornwall Hospital.
He then spent two years as an interventional radiologist in Abu Dhabi.
Nicholas has been in Jersey since 2014 and performs musculoskeletal radiology.
