Dr Waseem Nagi is a consultant in Haematology. He treats a wide variety of blood disorders such as Haematological malignancies, coagulation disorders and general haematological disorders.

His special interest lies in haematological malignancies especially myeloma and lymphoma. 
Other speciality interest includes Diagnosis and treatment of haematological malignancies; blood cancers; myeloma; lymphomas, leukaemia; Myelodysplastic syndrome; myeloproliferative disorders; chemotherapy; coagulation disorders; thrombosis; bleeding disorders; anaemia diagnosis; vitamin deficiencies testing; iron testing; bone marrow biopsy; cancer tests; blood disorder tests; lymph node; neck lumps; blood transfusion; venesection; intravenous iron infusion; and chemotherapy.

Training

Dr Waseem Nagi qualified from General medical training at the Mayo Hospital, Pakistan in 1992. He had his general medical experience in UK at Guy’s and St. Thomas hospital, London. His specialist training in haematology was based in South London at St. George’s Hospital and King’s College Hospital. Since then, Dr Nagi has worked as consultant haematologist and Clinical lead Mid & South Essex NHS Trust as his last job, driving and leading on considerable haematology service developments including specialist services patient pathways and treating a wide variety of blood disorders such as haematological malignancies, coagulation disorders and general haematological disorders. Dr Nagi Joined Jersey General Hospital in February 2023.
