Training
Andrew qualified as a doctor in 1974 and was a consultant radiologist in the army for five years before moving to Jersey in 1988.
He was sponsored by the army to go through medical school and on qualifying, became a general medical officer with various tours around the world.
He was then seconded out by the army to train for five years as a radiologist, mainly at King's College Hospital in London.
After that, he was consultant radiologist in various military hospitals before leaving to come to Jersey.
