Chad specialises in pain medicine, a specialised area of anaesthetics.
His areas of interests are pain investigation (scanning), treating back pain and sciatica, as well as neck and arm pain.
He performs epidurals and other spinal pain interventional procedures to treat pain and prescribes and manages pain medication.
Training
Chad graduated from Manchester Medical School in 1990.
He trained for 2 years in general medicine and then for 8 years as an anaesthetist. This was in recognised clinical training posts in the north west of England.
He worked in all the major teaching hospitals there, including the main pain medicine units.
He had a clinical attachment at The Royal Marsden in London and was appointed as a consultant in Blackburn in 1999 where he developed a multidisciplinary pain service.
He moved to Jersey in 2003 and became a full time pain consultant and Jersey pain lead in 2013.
