In the States Assembly sitting of Tuesday 25 February 2025, under Questions Without Notice, the Chief Minister, Deputy Lyndon Farnham, refers to a recent audit undertaken of the current technical equipment of Jersey Opera House.

A Please could you tell me who conducted the audit of current technical equipment of Jersey Opera House, when it was commissioned, and who by?
B Please could I have a copy of the audit report of current technical equipment at Jersey Opera House referenced above.
Response
A) The audit was carried out by a company called Lighting Plan. The audit was commissioned on 7th February 2025 by officers on behalf of the Minister for Sustainable Economic Development.
B) A copy of the report is attached. Redactions have been made in accordance with Article 33 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.

Article 33 - Commercial interests
Information is qualified exempt information if –

Article 33(b) of the Freedom of Information Law allows an authority to refuse a request for information where its disclosure would, or would be likely to, prejudice the commercial interests of a person (including the scheduled public authority holding the information).
Whilst it is accepted that the public may have an interest in the requested information, it is considered that releasing this information could affect the commercial interests of the suppliers and the Government of Jersey.
