La Motte Street public realm improvements

​​About the project

Infrastructure and Environment (IE) will undertake resurfacing works along La Motte Street in St Helier. These works are part of the La Motte Street public realm improvements.

IE Drainage, Island Energy and Newtel will also close La Motte Street to undertake works on their apparatus in the road. The utilities work do not form part of the public realm improvement scheme. However, the relevant utilities companies need to complete this works before we carry out the resurfacing works.

Access

Pedestrian and vehicle access to all businesses and premises will be maintained where possible during the works.

Customer and Local Services (CLS) and Revenue Jersey will remain open to customers and staff for business as usual.

Buses

Bus routes through La Motte Street are back to normal service.​
