About the project
Parts of the St Helier town area are currently served by a combined sewer system, which means that both foul and surface water are drained by the same pipe. The Val Plaisant North Surface Water Separation project is designed to separate the surface water from the combined sewer system by installing new surface water pipes in Val Plaisant, Springfield Road and Trinity Hill.
As part of these works, the department for Infrastructure and Environment (I&E) will be installing a new surface water pipe in Springfield Road. Multiple phases of traffic management will be required as part of these works from 18 November to 24 December 2024.
If you have any queries relating to these works, please call the Liquid Waste Project Team on +44 (0) 1534 445509 or email LWCapitalDelivery@gov.je.
