Connect Me events​, previously known as Closer to Home is a way of making activities and services accessible for Islanders of all ages. We organise events in various locations around the Island and provide advice, support and activities free of charge.

The mobile event makes it easier for people to access services that can improve their wellbeing by bringing together: 

  • ​Government services
  • charities
  • community organisations

We offer a wide range of services and activities which include:

  • social activities, such as arts and crafts
  • exercise classes
  • support and advice

Upcoming event​s​

The next Connect Me events for 2025 are scheduled for:

  • Saturday 29 March at St Clement​'s School​
  • Saturday 14 June at La Moye School
  • Saturday 22 November at Hautlieu Scho​ol

These community events will offer a range of activities aimed at engaging participants of all ages.​

Our next event

Free family event at St Clement​'s Schoo​l

Come along to a free fun-filled family event at St Clement'​s School on:

  • Saturday 29 March
  • 10am to 2pm​
  • Rue de la Chapelle, St Clement, Jersey JE2 6LN

It’s an opportunity to try some new activities, connect with charities, community organisations and government services, all in one place.

You can enjoy exciting activities including:

  • sports and games
  • arts and crafts
  • music
  • how to pack a healthy lunchbox

This event will feature Jersey Sport, Lunchbox Heroes, Caring Cooks, Jersey Police, Government benefits team and many more.​​

Connect Me events​ is a partnership initiative developed by the Government of Jersey, voluntary and community organ​isations and the Parishes. Our list of partners is constantly evolving. Activities and services are currently being delivered by the following organisations.
