This product presents with a high risk of fire and electric shock. It has a poor internal build quality and connections with wires soldered directly to the PCB, which also has no overcurrent protection. The transformer's primary and secondary windings were found to be touching and the battery measured only 51% of its rated capacity. The plug face did not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363 because the distance between the neutral pin and the outside edge was found to measure below the minimum requirements, posing a risk of electric shock. The plug fuse does not meet the requirements of BS 1362 as it was identified as being a counterfeit fuse that does not contain a ballast, meaning it cannot provide the required protection under fault conditions. Some of the required documentation and markings were not present. This product does not meet with safety standards.
